Located in Costa Mesa, California is a recognized prestigious private county club which is the Mesa Verde Country Club. It is a premier private club for members and families who wishes for a full service country club, with professional and friendly staff members, quality facilities and a fun, social atmosphere. Originally designed by course architect William F. Bell, the club is home to an 18-hole championship golf course and features 135 acres of beautiful turf and trees.
Mesa Verde Country Club hosts a variety of programs and special events for children throughout the year. Kids can create culinary masterpieces at one of MVCC’s cooking events or enjoy an evening of crafts and games at Kids Night Out. Summer Camps may include many diverse activities including swimming and golf programs, arts, crafts and other special interests.
The golf course that the country club provides, gives serious golfers a challenge and can be enjoyed by all ages. Optimal green-to-tee transitions and minimal steep grades make the course an enjoyable walk. Golfers are rewarded by the magnificent vista of the signature eighteenth hole at the end of a round. Winners of the five PGA tour events staged in MVCC include Billy Casper and “Champagne” Tony Lema who had his first PGA Tour win at the club. Nancy Lopez won two of the six LPGA tournaments. The country club also hosted the inaugural Toshiba Senior Classic and the USGA Girls’ Junior Amateur Championship.
Mesa Verde Country Club also offers ten plexi-paved tennis courts, six of which are lighted. The Club has four teams. MVCC also have sponsored some major tennis events such as the Orange County Grand Prix, Huntington Beach Open Tennis Tournament, and the Adoption Guild Classic Tournament.
