Mesa Verde is a Costa Mesa, California neighborhood. It is bounded on the north by Interstate 405, on the east by Harbor Boulevard, on the south by Victoria Street, and on the west by the Santa Ana River. The district includes the Fairview Channel, a Santa Ana River tributary that connects to Fairview Park, a wetland and riparian natural area bisected by Adams Avenue. The area contains 2 golf course complexes: the Costa Mesa Golf Course and the Mesa Verde Country Club.

History
The current location of Mesa Verde was essentially undeveloped until the 1960s and 1970s when an onslaught of construction hit the region.
In January 1959, the Mesa Verde Country Club opened in the northwest part of the neighborhood and has hosted numerous golf tournaments. The course has hosted Orange County Opens and other PGA Tour events. Previously, the course hosted the Toshiba Seniors Classic. The course has been played by notable players like Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, and Chi-Chi Rodrguez.
Mesa Verde is located in Orange County and is considered one of the nicest places to live in the state of California. Residents in Mesa Verde enjoy a dense suburban feel, and the majority of residents own their houses. There are numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks in Mesa Verde. Mesa Verde is home to a large number of young professionals, and people tend to hold moderate political views. Mesa Verde’s public schools are highly regarded.
The city has expanded from a semi-rural farming hamlet of 16,840 to a predominantly suburban and “edge” city with an economy based on retail, trade, and light manufacturing since its formation in 1953. When the area was being created, developers and planners paid special attention to the neighborhood’s planning, which had previously been neglected in the previous neighborhoods of Westside Costa Mesa and East Side Costa Mesa. As a result, the Mesa Verde area has a lovely vibe, with plenty of big trees, bending and meandering streets, and parks for kids to enjoy.
