Living with Some or Many of Your Natural Teeth Missing Isn’t Easy
Living with some or many of your natural teeth missing isn’t easy. It can even be harder if you chose removable restoration to replace your missing teeth. No matter how many years you have been used to your restoration, they never feel the same as your original, natural teeth.
The solution? We offer full-mouth dental implants to our patients through implant-supported permanent restoration. We’ll make the most of our abilities to ensure that your teeth look and feel like your natural ones.
What Are All-on-X Implants?
Full-arch implants or endosseous implants are titanium metal posts or screws surgically inserted into the jawbone under the gums. After installation and healing, they allow the dentist to mount new teeth onto them.
An All-on-4 fixed prosthesis is the best method to permanently replace your missing teeth, using up to four dental implants per jaw. What’s great about this treatment is that you don’t need a new root for each missing tooth in a jaw.
Four dental implants are enough to support a full set of prosthetic teeth in each jaw, but the number can vary depending on the patient’s case. These full-mouth dental bridges will look and feel like your natural teeth, allowing you to speak properly and eat any food you want.

How Do They Work?
With this type of permanent dental prosthesis, you can have All-on-4, All-on-5, or All-on-6 artificial roots secured in each jaw. These can support either a fixed or removable set of prosthetic teeth.
All-on-X fixed prostheses are the most common treatment. There can be All-on-4, All-on-5, All-on-6, or All-on-8 artificial roots placed in each jaw. They support a removable or fixed set of teeth. All-on-4 fixed prostheses are the most commonly used. This is a kind of treatment where there are two new roots placed in the front jaw. The remaining two prostheses are placed at the back at a 45-degree angle. In cases where increased support and retention are needed for the prosthesis, it may have six or even eight implants placed in the jaw. However, this practice is not very common as the more titanium posts needed, the more volume and thickness of the jawbone is needed.
What Are the Benefits of Full-Arch Implants?
- Fixed dental prostheses have a lot of benefits over conventional treatment methods such as bridges and restoration. Below are the following reasons:
- Convenience – The strength, durability, and comfort of permanent tooth replacements combine with the aesthetics of fixed or implant-supported removable teeth, making it a convenient option. You can eat or speak naturally, and it feels just like your natural teeth. Thanks to the artificial roots, your teeth will have a more stable foundation to support them so that you can speak and chew without problems.
- Quick Esthetic Results – Compared to traditional restoration that will need several months before a dental prosthesis is placed over them, All-on-4, 5, 6, or 8 fixed prostheses can be placed immediately. You don’t have to wait for a few months to have the smile you deserve and enjoy a beautiful smile right after you leave the dental office.
- Durability – Compared to conventional restoration that need to be replaced often, fixed prostheses are durable. All you need is proper oral hygiene to make them last a lifetime.
- Quick Recovery – We’ll make sure that patients will experience as minimal surgery as possible. Since these types of permanent restorations will need only four artificial roots, recovery is easier for the patient. This is performed to ensure the procedure is quick and recovery is quicker and more effective.
- No Need for Bone Grafting – A bone grafting procedure is not needed in fixed dental prostheses because they can be placed where there is enough quality and density of the bone. The effects of bone resorption are usually not pronounced in the front portion of the jawbone; therefore, two new roots placed at the front make the dental prosthesis very stable. The implants at the back are usually placed at an angle. This means that they can be placed in cases where there is less space between the upper and lower jaw than usual. It is possible to use mini-implants for the same purpose.

All-On-4 Implant Procedure
Fabrication and placement of All-on-4, 5, 6, or 8 implants is performed in two phases. The first phase involves placement of the implants. The second phase involves loading them into the jawbone with a suitable prosthesis.
Placement
Our dentists will make sure that placing the implants will be as painless and as comfortable as possible by using local anesthesia to numb the area. If the patient is experiencing anxiety or is very worried about the procedure, conscious sedation may be initiated. The surgical procedure is done by making an incision over the soft tissue under the jaw where the implants will be placed. When the surgical flap is raised, a small hole is drilled in the jaw to prepare for the implants. The titanium roots are then screwed into position and made sure they are secured by applying controlled forces.
Implant Loading
Traditionally, a complete prosthesis will be fixed to new roots using an abutment once the surgical site has completed healing time. However, modern dental techniques now allow for dentistry experts to load these fixtures in the jaw using a proper prosthesis. In this case, it allows for immediate loading, and the prosthetic teeth and abutments are ready before they are placed and are immediately inserted once the surgery is complete.

All-On-4 Implant FAQ
How much does it cost to get a all-on-4 of dental implants?
The cost of replacing all the teeth on the upper jaw, lower jaw, or even all the teeth costs on average for a single plate (top or bottom). This treatment option is perfect for people who are missing several teeth in a row. The cost can go higher if the teeth need to be removed and when bone grafting is required. Does dental insurance cover All-on-4?
The cost depends on the type of insurance, but in most cases, the coverage is small for All-on-4 implants. Patients are advised to check their insurance policy for the specifics of their premiums and if this treatment is covered.
Are All-on-4 dental implants removable?
All-on-4 dental implants contain a permanent set of teeth placed on four (sometimes six or eight) surgically placed implants. They look and function similarly to a natural tooth and cannot be removed.
How painful is the All-on-4 procedure?
Since this treatment is an outpatient surgery, patients can expect some discomfort or soreness after the surgery. However, the actual procedure itself is not painful because a local anesthetic is provided.
